CEBU, Philippines - Qualfon’s 1st Invitational Golf Tournament is set to tee off on November 27 at the par-72 Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.
This is an invitational tournament and organizers are expecting over a hundred participants, who are also mostly members of the host club.
The tournament will follow the full-handicap, strokeplay format, said Alvin Suarez, the tournament chairman, who met some members of the media last Saturday at the Qualfon office locate at Skyrise 3 in the Asiatown IT Park.
The tournament offers prizes for the top three players of three handicap categories. A Chevrolet Cruze is put on the line for a hole-in-one on the long par-3 15th, which requires a good tee shot to make past a ravine that requires at least 140 yards to carry.
Organizers promise exciting prizes, giveaways and the opportunity to party like they do at Qualfon to the participants.
Also present in the press conference were Joslyn Canon and Gilbey Radin of Qualfon and Michael Godinez and Jonah Lafuente of Lead Career Movers. (FREEMAN)
