STC pulls off twinkill in Aboitiz footballfest
CEBU, Philippines – St.Theresa's College had a great time over the weekend after posting convincing wins in two divisions in the 13th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Learning some valuable lessons out of their loss to Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, the Theresians spared no mercy against FECINU, 10-0, in the girls 17-under class.
Flashing the same stamina, the STC booters went on to crush Giuseppe, 9-0, in the girls 14-under category.
On the other hand, Don Bosco Boys Home barged into the win column in the boys 12 division after defeating SFC, 6-0.
The Bosconians, however, fell to Blessed John Seminary, 1-3, in the boys 14-under.
Blessed John made it a twinkill with a 15-1 rout of FECINU. (FREEMAN)
