Siao and Domingo rule 2nd Pink Tee

CEBU, Philippines - Johnny Siao and Nilo Domingo led the winners of the 2nd Pink Tee Golf Tournament played yesterday at the Cebu Country Club Club.

Siao scored the lowest net shooting ten-under-par 62 strokes off a gross score of 79. The event was jointly presented by the Rotary Club of Cebu Fuente and the Chamber of Customs Brokers Inc. in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Domingo scored the tournament’s lowest gross hitting two-over-par 74 strokes and edging Enrico Solon and Cho Yong Woo in the countback.

The class A title went to Arnold Tan with a net score of 69 strokes. Solon, who finished with the same output, settled for the first runner-up honors after losing in the countback while second runner-up was Wendell Yap with net score of 70 also beating Carlo Dimaala in the countback.

The tournament was for the benefit of the Chong Hua Hospital Department of Surgery-Charity Services.

The class B plum went to Edwin Lim, who fired a net score of 66 strokes. Zoe Lim was first runner-up with a net score of 68 edging Noel Ybañez and Didi Tiu.  Ybañez also won the countback against Tiu to take the second runner-up honors.

Regan King topped class C with a net score of 63 strokes while first runner-up was Ding Abay-abay with 66 and second runner-up was Rogelio del Prado, Jr. with a net score of 67 edging Jason King in the countback.

The title for the ladies division went to Marisol Pasion with a net score of 74 strokes beating Mercy Bejar in the countback. Bejar settled for the first runner-up honors while second runner-up was Flor Streegan with a net score of 77. (THE FREEMAN)
