Second Mechanical Engineering Run set this Saturday

CEBU, Philippines - Over a thousand runners are set to take part in this year’s Mechanical Engineering Run on Saturday at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center-Cebu.

This is the second time that the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) here will spearheaded such event.

Last year, it was initiated by PSME-Cebu City Chapter. This time, it will be organized by its unified body composed of different chapters here in Cebu.

The race features the 10K, 5K and 3K run for fitness buffs aged 12 years old and below.

Registration fee is pegged at P250, while students will get a P50 discount. Entry forms are available at ROX and Runnr of Ayala Center Cebu-Active Zone and at all PSME chapters here.

Proceeds of the fund-raising activity will be donated to outstanding Cebuano students who could hardly proceed with their course due to financial difficulties. (THE FREEMAN)
