Tabunok rules in Talisay caging

CEBU, Philippines - Team Tabunok dethroned Cansojong via a masterful 81-63 demolition in the seniors division of the 2010 Talisay City Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament at the city’s sports complex the other night.

Arvie Cabañero topscored for Tabunok with 21 points, while Celso Colegado added 16 points but his consistency throughout the duration of the tournament earned him the MVP award. Cabañero and Colegado made it to the Mythical Five alongside Rodulfo Enterina and Roger Ray Pogoy of Cansojong and Elmer Gallarde of Poblacion.

In the battle for third place, Gallarde, Jerome Villaver and Glen Dejan connived for 42 points as Poblacion smothered Tanke, 73-65.
