Goldberry Suites now 7-0 in SHABA caging

CEBU, Philippines – The Goldberry Suites/Uratex Foam defeated White Gold Club, 68-57, to remain unbeaten in seven games in the 15th Sacred Heart Alumni Basketball Association (SHABA) season at the old Sacred Heart School campus gym along Gen. Maxilom Avenue, this city.

White Gold took a 38-29 advantage at halftime, but Dennis Que sparked a fiery uprising in the final half that enabled Goldberry Suites to turn on the table against their foes.

In the opener, Gaisano Capital Saver's Choice mauled A+Struttures, 52-39, while RDAK/Edcon Glass slammed Nature's Spring, 55-41.

In the other games, Gaisano Capital defeated Shell-V. Rama, 62-5, to improve its win-loss record to 4-3, JAPFA defeated Marcelino Co, 69-63, to join its victim at second place with identical 6-1 win-loss re-cords, while in the final game of the day, Mobelhaus escaped with a 49-42 win over the San Remigio Beach Club.
