- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -

CEBU, Philippines - Mary Grace de los Santos had another walk-in-the-park victory, while Philip Duenas overcame a tough challenge to rule the men's division of the St. Theresa’s College Batch ‘87-organized Glamour Run yesterday at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center Cebu.

De los Santos bested the fast-rising Mary Joy Tabal to top the women's class as Cebu’s former road running queen Christy Sevilleno-Tutor placed third.

Sharon Vega came out fourth, while the fifth to 10th sports were occupied by Sofie Laumann, Thea Caroll, Emeralde Hermosilla, Mary Ann Benedicto, Pamela Apuhin and Nao Idio.

In the men’s side, Duenas finally found the courage to race in the premiere class and won the title over another emerging runner Jobert Carolino.

It was a difficult triumph for Duenas decided by a sprint finish, with Duenas clocking in 34 minutes and 32 seconds, just 10 seconds ahead of Carolino.

Adonis Singson, who dominated the Cebu leg of the 34th Milo Marathon, settled for third in 34:59. Sherwin Manangil wound up fourth followed by Harold Maturan.

Rounding up the top 10 cast in the men's 10K were Harold Estrada (37:36), Jed Tay-at (44:25), Gerald Cabatingan (45:17) and Cristobal Damandaman (46:14).
