Teletech Titans top inter-BPO hoopla
CEBU, Philippines - The Teletech Titans clinched the championship crown after it logged its second victory fending off Aegis People Support, 66-60, during the best-of-three finals of the 6th Inter-BPO basketball tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Aegis People Support had an impressive start taking the lead in the first quarter, 16-12 but they were not able to sustain the momentum as the gritty Teletech Titans snatched the driver’s seat at the half, 30-28.
Teletech maintained the two-point advantage after three quarters, 45-43.
In the final canto, Teletech poured its full force to score the six-point victory.
Lourenz Limpangog paced Teletech with a game-high 21 points while Erwin
Abellanosa and Raul Cabahug IV chipped in 13 and 10 markers, respectively.
Vincent Barrera, on the other hand, led Aegis People Support with 16 points with a strong backing from John Louie Arriesgado and regular season MVP Jomie Mendez, who added 25 points combined.
