Osmeña Memorial Run set this Sunday
CEBU, Philippines – This year's edition of the Don Sergio Osmeña, Sr. 10K Run will blast off this Sunday at the Cebu City Sports Center.
For those who failed to register ahead, the organizers are giving runners until Saturday to enlist.
The Cebu City Sports Commission office located at the Cebu City Sports Center will still accept registration even today. For more details, one may call 255-6985.
The event is held as a post-birthday anniversary celebration of Cebu 's grand old man, Don Sergio Osmeña, Sr.
Cash prizes and trophies will be given away to the top performers in the men and and women's class along with that of the masters division.
The organizing CCSC decided to give cash prizes up to the 15th finisher in the master class to let older runners enjoy the fruits of their hardwork.
The one-day race is supported by Prycegas, Waterfresh, Metrografix, CITOM, ERUF, MARS and IPI. (FREEMAN)
