Tri-Ur-Own triathlon training set July 18 in Catmon

CEBU, Philippines - The finale of the two-part Tri-Ur-Own triathlon training will take place on July 18 at Kristian Cabahug’s Place in Catmon.

For those who are not familiar yet with the venue, it is located approximately a hundred meters before the Huna-Huna beach resort.

The event is spearheaded by the Sugbu Triathlon community as part of the Cebuano triathletes’ preparations for this year’s Ironman Philippines in Camarines Sur.

Close to 20 Cebuanos have already signified their participation in the Ironman led by Noy Jopson, the fastest Pinoy in last year’s edition of the lung-busting race.

For those who are not joining the Ironman, the Tri-Ur-Own activity is a venue to test one’s know-how in swimming, bicycling and running without pressure since it’s not a competition. — THE FREEMAN
