MANILA, Philippines - X-Racing emerged as the top squad in the Visayas leg of the 2010 Yamaha Grand Prix after dominating two of the three classes spiced up with several runner-up finishes at Kartzone the other day.
X-Racing’s Insik Flores won the automatic super stock class over Moises Muñoz as Flores ’ teammate Mario Borbon landed third.
Borbon gamely bounced back by winning the sport production class against Cyrus Racing’s Jes Louie Vega, while Muñoz placed third.
Muñoz did not go home empty-handed as he bagged the 110 super stock class title. Flores wound up second, while Jubenile Abellar of Motofix-PSR ended third.
James Tui of 3SR, on the other hand, paraded the best bike during the bike show, while AMC’s Ramon Magabilin and Bong Duterte came out second and third, respectively.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
