Threesome scores second straight victory in JBA

CEBU, Philippines - The Threesome/Stickerworld of team managers Don Gonzales and Edzel Flores upended Mang Inasal, 88-73, to grab the temporary lead in the Jaycees Basketball Association (JBA) Metro Cebu Uptown Jaycees basketball tournament last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Earlier, the Sherilin Plastics led by Richard Mercado defeated the AMBL/ACDC, 81-71, for its first win in two games.

Glenn Besanes had 15 points, while James Relampagos, Oliver Go and Voltaire Rosal conspired for 37 markers as Threesome/Stickerworld coasted to its second straight victory in as many starts.

Opel Cabaltera led the 1-1 Mang Inasal with 18 points, but Montoy Singson was held off to a paltry three points.

Earlier, Jeremy Huang amassed 28 points for Sherilin Plastics, which bounced back from its 64-72 loss to Threesome last week. Edmund Odulio added 21 points for Sherilin and Dennis Que chipped in 18 markers.

Chito Hernandez topscored for AMBL/ACDC with 28 points. Jimbo Noel and Franco Te had 13 points each in a losing effort.
