CEBU, Philippines - The Freeman columnist, Dr. Jose Vicente ‘JV’ Araneta emerged as the class C champion in last Saturday’s Cebu Cycling Weekly Races at the Mandaue City Reclamation area.
Araneta defeated the equally-aggressive Nonoy Abasola for the top spot.
Tata Matudan wound up third while his namesake, Tata Ty took fourth and Tyre Lambo settled for fifth.
In the combined class A and B battle, it was Albert Basirgo who emerged the fastest.
Basirgo beat Earl Cadampug for the top spot.
