Treadtel to stage football tourney

CEBU, Philippines - Up and coming booters gear up for another action via the 1st Treadtel Cup football tournament, which wil be staged on two weekends (July 10-11 and 17-18) at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

“This event aims to promote football in Cebu especially in the grassroots level. We would like to encourage the different clubs and schools to participate in this tournament,” said Adonis Quitoy, the club and competitions director.

The tournament features players 8 and 10, boys 12 and boys and girls 14 and 17 divisions.

Registration fee is pegged at P1,000. The deadline for the submission of entries is on June 26 on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

The event is supported by Treadtel Tires and organized by the Cebu Football Association.
