Yayoy's dartsfest continues tonight

MANILA, Philippines - The weekly Yayoy’s Grill Darts tournament resumes tonight at Yayoy’s Grill located along Orchid St., Capitol Site, this city.

Tonight’s action will be another doubles event featuring some of Cebu’s most seasoned and upcoming darters.

Organizers of the event is pushing through tonight’s action even as a tournament in San Carlos City is set tomorrow since not all are going there while others who are joining the out-of-town event will be leaving early Saturday morning yet.

The weekly competition at Yayoy’s Grill started a few months ago as part of Team Cebu City Niños selection for members during the Queen City of the South’s hosting of a national darts tournament last summer.

The success of the event last summer encouraged re-elected councilor Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba to continue supporting this sport, which he and his sons have learned to love as well.  – THE FREEMAN
