Global survives Accenture in Inter-BPO hoop
CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Global Teleservices escaped with a 57-55 victory over Accenture, in the preliminary rounds of the 6th Inter-BPO Basketball Tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Luther Kong spearheaded Cebu Global’s victory with 18 points, while Jeffrey Alegre and Gaudencio Lauglaug chipped in 12 markers apiece.
Accenture’s Randy Bihag had a game-high 28 points in a losing cause.
In the other match, Lexmark bounced back from a previous defeat against Titants and vented their ire on Vector BPO, 76-38.
Omar Saycon paced Lexmark with 18 points, while Neil Armamento and Clark Jay Judilla contributed 12 points each.
