Simava, Ayer's rule in San Isidro caging

CEBU, Philippines - Sitio SIMAVA escaped with a 78-74 win over Christwil (Sitio Ilang-Ilang) to win the juniors crown of the San Isidro, Talisay SK summer basketball tournament at the barangay’s open court.

In the midget division, Ayer’s Lechon upended the Chrislie, 86-74, to take home the title.

The SK games, organized by San Isidro Basketball Association (SIBA) president Kenneth Maningo and supervised by SK chairperson Charlene dela Cuesta, is among the highlights of San Isidro’s annual fiesta on May 15.

Jefferson Kho, the juniors MVP, led SIMAVA with 24 points and Jaydee Cabañero had 23.

Roy Quiatchon, the midget MVP, amassed 26 points for Ayer’s Lechon, while Ryan Alenton added 20 markers.
