All-SRFC final in 10-under class
CEBU, Philippines - It's an all-San Roque Football Club championship battle in the under-10 division of the Cebu Amateur Football Club-organized 10th National Inter-Club Football Tournament at 4pm today at Paref-Springdale field.
SRFC-A faces its sister-team SRFC-B after both came up with impressive semifinal performances yesterday.
SRFC-A whipped M. Lhuillier, 5-1, while SRFC-B dumped Paref-Springdale, 4-1.
Before the sister squads clash against each other, M. Lhuillier and Springdale will vie for the third spot at 8 am to be followed by another battle for third in the boys 12-under division.
In the other game yesterday, 17-under defending champion Abellana National School-Pomeroy slammed Don BoscoTechnology Center, 3-1, at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center field.
The visiting Sta. Rita booters also continued to sizzle in the under-17 class with Paref-Springdale as their latest victim, 3-1.
ANS-Pomeroy faces next Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, while Sta.Rita takes on DBTC. The winners will then slug it out for the coveted crown. – THE FREEMAN
