Pañeros,Pecandela now 4-1 in IBP caging

CEBU, Philippines - Team Pañeros of skipper Nilo Balorio and the Pecandela Law Firm dumped separate rivals to earn a share of the lead with similar 4-1 win-loss records in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) 2010 basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym along Escario street, this city.

The Paneros dominated Mt. Zion, 64-50, while the Pecandela dribblers nipped the Iron Eagles in a low-scoring ballgame, 40-37.

Val Ligutan and Resty Arnaiz had 18 points each for YLAC, while Richard Bauzon topscored for the Bros N LKaw with 16 points.
