Egin Taborada and Matt Vallejo each posted 14 points, while the Lequit brothers Sherwin and Stanely finished with 13 markers apiece as Mawin’s Kitchen took the temporary lead with a 3-1 win-loss record.
After a 53-all deadlock at the end of the third period, Mawin’s mainstays threw up a stonewall defense to shackle VVRA and eventually escape with a five-point win.
Earlier, the Panthers demolished Jacpat Shee, 65-40, to even its win-loss record to 2-2.

Dondon Padigos and Jet Iyana had 11 points each for Jacpat Shee, which crashed to its third defeat in four starts.
