Quota Run hits the road today

CEBU, Philippines - Over a thousand runners are expected to see action in the 2010 Quota International Run at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center-Cebu today.

The competition will be under the 12-kilometer and 6km categories.

Aside from testing one’s might and seeking fun, runners will also get a chance to help out others in need as the event is organized by the Quota International-Cebu South, a women’s civic group that is actively involved in caring for the children with hearing, speech and sight impairments.

Although a fund-raiser, cash prizes and medals will be given away to the top performers of the race.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
