Celdran rules February golfest of CCC
CEBU, Philippines - Clifford Celdran fired 75 strokes to win the lowest gross honors in the February Monthly Medal of Cebu Country Club.
The class A title went to David Lu, who had a net score of 71 strokes off a gross 81. Runner-up honors went to Macky Michael with a net score of 72 strokes.
Nestor Mendoza topped class B with a net score of 68 while Andy Parrott was the runner-up with a net score of 69.
Alfredo Tan won the class C plum with a tournament-best net score of 62 strokes. Stanley Chona was the runner-up with his net 68.
Antonio Baltazar topped class D with a net score of 68 followed by Ben Ebrada with a net score of 71 as runner-up.
Ramon Escario won the title for the seniors’ division shooting a net score of 68 while Cesar Libi was the runner-up with a net score of 71.
The guest division title went to Dino Yap with a net score of 75 strokes while Hospicio Razon was the runner-up with a net score of 77. – NLQ (THE FREEMAN)
