Fastball batters begin title defense

CEBU, Philippines - Team Fastball begins its title defense today as the 2nd Cebu Slow Pitch Softball Tournament Series kicks off at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City .

The event will start off with a short opening program with the organizing Fastball Sportsventure’s owner and general manager Jesse Bernad leading the activity.

Games proper follows right away with Fastball facing the Bandidos in the opener.

In the other diamond, Jokers Arms will tackle the Rebels.

After lunch comes the fight for third to be followed by the championship match in the event sponsored by the Visayan Electric Company, Unionbank of the Philippines, Beer Below Zero and The Jokers Arms – English Pub, Restaurant and Beer Garden.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
