Cebu leg of NAGT Series at Plantation

CEBU, Philippines - This year’s Cebu leg of the National Age-Group Triathlon Series is slated on April 25 at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa. After several years of being staged in either Danao City or a resort in Sogod, the Cebu leg of the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP)-organized event will be back in Plantation Bay.

The support given by Plantation Bay’s management during the final race of Sugbu Triathlon for 2009 encouraged the organizers to bring in a bigger competition at the five-star resort.

The April 25 joust in Mactan Island serves as the third leg of the NAGT Series. The event covers one-kilometer swim, 30km bike and 7.5 km run.

After Cebu, the next stop of the Speedo-sponsored tilt are in Cagayan de Oro on August 29, Los Baños, Laguna on September 5 and Ayala, Alabang on October 17. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
