"Run to the Clouds" at Zipline

CEBU, Philippines - The endurance and toughness of Cebuano runners will be put to a major test with the staging of “Run to the Clouds” on March 21 at the Zipline in Brgy. Busay, this city.

The race is a mountain running of sort as runners will traverse an eight-kilometer route beginning at the Outpost in Nivel Hills and ending at Zipline.

Over 500 running buffs are expected see action in this event organized by Sugbu Triathlon, an on-line community mainly for triathletes, in cooperation with Zipline.

The organizers assured that newbies can finish the race, yet still challenging enough for intermediate and advanced runners.

For those who have not yet gone to the said area, a picturesque view of the entire Metro Cebu will be an added attraction.

As an added incentive, all the finishers will be given 20 percent discount if they want to try the zipline.

Registration fee is pegged at P250 inclusive of a singlet.

A bus will be provided for the participants from Busay to JY Square after the awarding ceremony.
