Lorega Proper A pummeled Team Caimito, 103-88, to register its second straight triumph in the elimination round of the SK-FDH basketball tournament at Barangay Satellite Complex in Brgy. Lorega San Miguel, this city.

Marlon de la Cruz nailed 31 points while Nyuri Nodalo chipped in 19 markers and Lito Joya contributed 13 for Lorega A’s victory.

 Lorega A started hot when they came out raging in the first canto through three-point shooting and fast breaks spearheaded by Nodalo, who scored 15 at the half.

 Caimito’s shooting guard Roel Dinopol, on the other hand, registered a season-high 27 points while Frederick Vallesfin and Elkie Entize added 21 and 16 points, respectively, for a losing cause.

 In the other match, Team Quadrangle trounced Lower Lawis, 101-92.

 Quadrangle’s Vergilio Insot led his team by pouring 32 markers while Lower Lawis’ Charlo Comahig registered 31 points in a losing cause.

The duo of Junjun Nuñez and Jermaine Carillo also contributed in Quadrangle’s win helping their squad post a 15-point lead at the bend, 57-42.

Nuñez and Carillo both ended the match with identical 19 points.
