RCAF drubs Dhagz in Abella caging
CEBU, Philippines - The RCAF cagers of team owner Romeo Faunillan drubbed Dhagz, 101-85, for their second straight win in the Norvic Abella Cup 2009 Christmas basketball tournament at the Labangon open court.
Dhagz took an early 24-20 lead with Dicksim Kintanar orchestrating the offense but it turned out to be their last hurrah as RCAF countered with a 29-13 blast to post a dozen-point lead at halftime, 49-37.
RCAF further ripped the game apart, 76-60, behind the efforts of Jong Wilbur, Fritz Baguia and three-point artist Alwen Tabasa.
Wilbur scattered a game-high 24 points for RCAF, while Baguia and Tabasa finished with 20 and 15 points, respectively.
