Losiaboi, De los Santos dominate Eco-Run

CEBU, Philippines - Kenyan missionary Simon Losiaboi and Mary Grace de los Santos added feathers on their caps after dominating the Go For Green Tourism Eco-Run at the Asiatown I.T. Park yesterday.

Losiaboi once again reasserted his dominance over Mendel Lopez to reign supreme in the men's open division.

Elmer Bartolo returned to challenge the Kenyan runner but could only make it to third place.

In the distaff side, De los Santos stayed unbeaten in all running competitions she joined here in Cebu .

Madelyn Carter copped the second place honors, while Joery Lee came out third.

Swimmer-turned-footracer Lhoriz Echavez grabbed part of the limelight because aside from placing fourth, she was also greeted by friends and supporters for passing the Civil Engineering’s board examination.

In the 5K class, Joel Delposo clinched the top spot in the men’s division, while Joy Tabal lorded it over in the women's bracket. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
