1st BTC stacking challenge Ong, Flores, Sanchez to defend records

-

CEBU, Philippines - THE 1st Banilad Town Centre (BTC) Speed Stacks Challenge enters the third of seven rounds yesterday with the competing young sports stackers holding the best record time working to keep their top-seed standing.

Frank Ethan "Hawke" Ong of the Philippine Christian Gospel School (PCGS) leads in all the three individual categories in the 7-under class and faces no close contender so far.

PAREF Southcrest School stackers hold the top three best time for the 3-3-3 stacks in the 10-under category, but stackers from PCGS and St. Theresa's College (STC) lead in the 3-6-3 and cycle stacks.

At 13-under, University of San Carlos (USC) North male stackers led by Yngwie Flores and Southcrest stackers led by Kali Carcel and Lyanna San Pedro will be out to prove who is dominant at 3-3-3 and 3-6-3 stacks.

But Kimberly Kwan of PCGS will go all-out to remain the cycle stacks leader.

Don Bosco's Kiefer Zion Sanchez is expected to do the same at 3-6-3 and cycle stacks in the 16-under division, with Clayton Lim of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) continuing to hold on at 3-3-3.

The sports stacking event at the BTC main lobby is organized by Toys@Work with the support of Colours, Tutoring Club, Thirsty and Dimsum Break. (FREEMAN NEWS)
