CEBU, Philippines - Gabriel Yap, Jr. and Joel Ong lead the winners of the Pink Tee Golf Tournament played last week at the Mactan Island Golf Club.
Yap fired nines of 34 and 39 for a total of one-over-par 73 strokes to win the lowest gross honors.
Ong, who plays with a handicap of 25 strokes fired nines of 44 and 41 for a gross 85. His net score of 60 strokes earned him the lowest net honors.
The class A title went to Andrew Cañete with a net score of even-par 72 strokes off a gross 77. Runner-up honors went to Retired General Rodante Joya with a net 73 off a gross 83.
The class B title went to Bob Hilayo with a net 69 while runner-up honors went to Emmanuel Tesalona with a net score of 70 strokes.
Jun Visarra topped class C with a net score of 63 while Reynaldo Sanchez was the runner-up with a net score of 64.
Ladies Division
Jocelyn ‘Joy’ Siguan topped the premiere handicap category for the distaff side with a net score of 71 strokes off a gross 82. Runner-up honors went to Geraldine ‘Gigi’ Ash with a net score of 76.
Sol Abad-Pasion of Pagcor topped class B with a net score of 73 while Mercy Bejar was runner-up with a net 81.
Helen Yap topped class C with a net score of 71 while runner-up honors went to Jenelyn Inot with a net 74.
In the guest division for those, who are not members of the clubs under the Regional Unified Handicapping System, Gaga Guadez won the title with a net 69 while Jun Tacocong was runner-up with a net score of 70 strokes. (NLQ) (FREEMAN NEWS)
