CEBU, Philippines - The Karl Customs Brokerage (KCB) of team owner Nelson Arnoco and coach Norwin Honoridez mauled the Guadalupe SK champion EYHA, 75-44, in their exhibition match highlighting the Guadalupe Slam and Jam event at the Guadalupe Sports Complex.
The KCB mainstays trailed by nine after the first period, 2-11, but staged a devastating rally thereafter to turn the tide of the match in their favor.
Charles Arnoco, Allan Doble and Alwin Aguire easily shackled the defense of EYHA, which came tumbling down at the starts of the second period.
Also, the triumvirate of Kis Gerson, Joey Oren and Ryan Lopez were so fomidable that they effortlessly carried KCB to a 31-point massacre of EYHA.
Gerson had 12 points for KCB, which also drew 10 markers apiece from Oren and Lopez.
Dodong Lazaga was the only double-digit scorer for EYHA with 11.
