Team Management captures CEMVEDCO cage title

CEBU, Philippines - The Management of team captain Tony Piloton reaffirmed its mastery over the Ermita Tanods, 60-52, to claim the basketball crown in the Cebu Market Vendors Development Cooperative (CEMVEDCO) 2009 Sportsfest in Brgy. Ermita, this city.

Paul Lemita scattered a game-high 23 points, while Benjie Miñoza added 12 points for the Management.

Ando and Cabras paced the Ermita Tanods with 21 points combined.

Earlier, the Freedom Park outlasted Chapter 1-A, 73-60, to settle for third place honors.

Jay Arcillar posted 26 points for Freedom Park followed by Christopher Perez with 20.

Chapter 1-A was led by Jun Quirol with 17 points and Tata Detuya with 15.
