MLO officials urge schools to submit lineups
CEBU, Philippines - The organizers of the Milo Little Olympics-Visayas are encouraging the different schools to submit their entries even if the deadline is on August 15 yet at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Right now, only a few schools have already submitted their lineup along with the supporting documents as proof of their student-athletes’ qualifications.
By submitting their entries early, the organizers will be able to prepare everything needed during the competition.
The Visayas edition of the MLO will formally open on September 4 at the CCSC.
The games proper are slated on September 5, 6, 12 and 13. The awarding ceremonies for the overall champions and the Most Outstanding Athletes will be the 19th at a still undisclosed venue.
The MLO Visayas is scheduled earlier than the previous stagings as the Queen City of the South will be hosting the first ever National Championships this October. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
