Teletech now 6-0 in Inter-BPO hoop

-

CEBU, Philippines - Reigning titlist Teletech Titans bulldozed Western Wats, 78-68, for their sixth straight win in as many games in the 5th Inter-BPO Basketball Championships the other night at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

The Titans were down by a matchstick early on, 16-17, but found their offensive bearing in the second canto to wrest the driver’s seat at halftime, 37-34, for good.

Erwin James Abellanosa led the Titans with 18 points, while Laurenz Limpangog and Earl Laurenz Sultan tossed in 12 markers apiece.

Convergys, on the other hand, drubbed Lexmark, 74-58, to top Bracket B with a clean 5-0 slate.

Venerando de la Peña Jr. showed the way for Convergys with 28 points.

Lexmark’s John Morin also logged 28 markers in a losing cause.

In the other game, 1&1 Internet Philippines finally barged into the win column after routing the listless Calltek Center, 57-48.
