Abellana, Baltonado rule Wowie darts tilt

CEBU, Philippines - Emilio Abellana andJoseph Baltonado shocked the heavily-favore darters to rule the Wowie Racines Cup Classified Darts Doubles Tournament at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.

Abellana and Baltonado defeated the twice-to-beat tandem of Roy Laude and Bert Colong Jr.

Abellana and Baltonado outsmarted Laude and Colong, 2-1, and then followed it up with a 1-0 decision in the decider to snatch the title.Jonathan Rubi and Allan Veloso bested Yoko Quillope and Erling Abellana to settle for third place honors.
