Teletech stays unbeaten in inter-BPO cagefest
CEBU, Philippines - Defending champion Tetelech Titans upended E-Telecare, 57-50, in the clash of unbeaten squads in the 5th Inter-BPO Basketball Championships at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Laurenz Limpangog scattered 20 points as Teletech tightened its grip of the solo lead with an immaculate 4-0 record. Geneking Mercader had 14 markers for E-Telecare, which slipped to 3-1 in a tie with Wipro.
Wipro scored its third win at the expended of 1&1 Internet, 58-42. John Paul Escudero paced Wipro with 18 points, while Danny Pestaño and Giovanni Taok chipped in 11 points apiece.
Alvin Clint Guisadio and Jess Warren Santos spearheaded the listless 1&1 with 14 and 11 points, respectively.
In bracket B, E-Performax zapped Lexmark, 63-42. Britz Boncalon led E-Performax with 10 points, while Igor Santino Villaluz topped Lexmark with 14 points.
