Bostolits stun ICC Pharmacy
CEBU, Philippines – Team Bostolits skippered by Rey Petaluna stunned league-leader ICC Pharmacy, 121-101, in the Saturday Club 2009 basketball tournament at the Brgy. Quiot Sports Complex.
In the other game, the Pimentel Customs Brokerage also scored a lopsided 94-59 win over St. Vincent troopers, 94-59.
Petaluna finished with 18 points, but it was Pete Patrimonio who topscored for Bostolits with 31 markers. Danny de la Peña added 20 points.
The Pimentel Brokers, on the other hand, relied on the troika of Richard Gubaton, Sarah Nardo and Ike Piza as they improved their win-loss record to 4-2.
Gubaton amassed 30 points, while Nardo and Piza had 16 and 12 points, respectively.
St. Vincent was led by Fury Trazona with 18 points.
