Teletech scores in BPO tourney

CEBU, Philippines – Defending champion Teletech Titans clobbered 1&1 Internet Philippines, 62-52 in the 5th Inter-BPO Basketball Championship last Monday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Teletech was down by two at halftime, 17-19, but erupted with a 25-8 run in the third canto to rip the game apart, 42-27.

In the opening match, Western Wats thumped Calltek, 69-58, behind the 22-point explosion of Rhett Tomakin. Harold Toledo and Edward Lago contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Western Qats.

Jopher Regidor, on the other hand, nailed 12 markers as Qualfon thrashed Cebu Global, 64-38. Michael Adam Pagadalian paced Cebu Global with 16 markers.
