4th leg of Run For Sight this Sunday
CEBU, Philippines - The fourth leg of the Run For Sight will take place this Sunday at the Cebu Doctors’ University campus in Mandaue City.
The monthly action which started last March features two race lengths, 5K and 10K.
The organizers are expecting more entries with the opening of a new school year.
The event is organized by the Run For Sight Foundation in cooperation with the Larrazabal Eye. Its technical side is being handled by the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE).
Runners can still register an hour before the competition. Entry fee is pegged at only P50.
A ‘Runner of the Year’ award in both male and female divisions will be given away by the end of the year.
The overall champion in the men and women’s categories will get a colored television, a DVD player and a specially-engraved RFS eye-shaped medal . – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
