Lim bags May title of BTA monthly

CEBU, Philippines - Lady bowler Jacklynn Lim topped the male-dominated May edition of the 2009 Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) monthly tournament the other night at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.

Lim had a slow start, but put up a good fight in the last three games to win the title.

Lim toppled a total of 1,744 pinfalls in the eight-game finals.

Clark Tiu finished second with 1,661 pinfalls, while another female entry Xyrra Cabusas came out third with 1,654 pinfalls.

The fourth to 10th placers were Jun-Jun Gothong (1,600), Michelle Lim (1,547), Andrew Yap (1,547), Clarence Tiu (1,530), Lolong Uy (1,517), Wilbert Yu (1,491), and Bede Illano (1,474). – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
