CEBU, Philippines - The Kaimito Blazers and Center Harbour prevailed over separate foes in a double quarterfinal thriller of the Pulpogan Motorcyle Operators and Drivers Association (PMODA) at the Pulpogan gym in Consolacion.
The Center Harbour advanced into the best-of-three semifinals after pulling off a 65-64 cliffhanger over the Extreme Riders, while the Kaimito Blazers also had to pass through the wringer before fending off the TJ Boys in double overtime, 86-84.
The PMODA league is supported by the Pulpogan barangay council under Brgy. Capt. Roger Linaboc and councilor Arlene Tongco. The tournament is supervised by commissioner Jerry Narandan assisted by Roel Bancal.
