Hiroshi takes men's lead in Inter-Club football

CEBU, Philippines – Team Hiroshi hammered out a 4-2 victory over the University of Cebu (UC)-ERCO to take the lead in the men’s open division of the 9th Cebu Amateur Football Club(CAFC) National Inter-Club Football Cup at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center field in Brgy. In the boys 14-under played at the San Roque Parish field, Don Bosco Technology whacked Sacred Heart School-Jesuit (SHS-J), 6-3, to extend its unbeaten run to four games in a row.

The Bosconians are also on top of the heap in the boys 17-under Group B with a clean 2-0 slate, while Pomeroy stands alone in 17-under Group A also without defeat in two starts.

Over at PAREF-Springdale, SHS-J sets the pace in the boys 12-under with a 1-0 card, while DBTC 1 perched atop the boys 10-under leaderboard with an immaculate 3-0 record —Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
