Haulers dump Park 'N Go in FYA

CEBU, Philippines – Former USJ-R Jaguar Giovanni Canceko and ex-Baby Jaguar Baeng Medalle powered the Viking Haulers to a 102-84 rout of Park ‘N Go Bakeshop in the F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) 1st Vice Mayor Mike Rama Cup last Sunday at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Brgy. Punta, Princesa, this city.

Medalle topscored with 21 points, while Canceko had 18 points as the Viking Haulers finally chalked up their first win in three starts.

Carl Rama and Kino Escalona finished with 21 points a piece for Park ‘N Go, which crashed to its third consecutive loss in as many games.

Kuya Allan, on the other hand, defeated Team Jayra, 94-85 to even its win-loss record to 2-2 in a tie with its victim.

Kenneth Marqueda was in a scoring frenzy to lead Kuya Allan with 31 points. He was heavily backed up by Ranel Patalita with 27 points.

Niño Manubag and Bikeng Rolon paced Jayra with 55 points combined.

The FYA tilt is supported by Punta Princesa Brgy. Capt. Rolly Diorico, barangay councilor Ray Gabriel Salgado, and tournament chairman Boy Atillo.
