Heartfelt shocks Rollyr Boyz in FYA Mike Rama cagefest

CEBU, Philippines - Team Heartfelt outlasted the much vaunted Rollyr Boyz of Brgy. Capt. Rolly Diorico, 98-95, in the F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) 1st Vice Mayor Mike Rama Cup at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.

Heartfelt now holds an immaculate 3-0 record courtesy of the 32-point production by Tata Laborte that overshadowed Daniel Enriquez’s 25 points for Rollyr Boyz, which suffered its first defeat in three starts.

Earlier, the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (CCIB) clobbered Team Grandeur, 99-82, to improve its win-loss record to 2-1. Roy Veloso finished with 23 points for CIIB,

Team Grandeur, which crashed to its third straight loss, was led by Rovel Tabar with 21 points followed by Dondon Cadungog with 20 markers.
