Conor dumps Sitio Kolo by 57 points in MBL tilt
CEBU, Philippines – The Conor Express Freight Forwarders logged its fourth straight victory in style, thrashing Sitio Kolo by 57 points, 114-57, in the Mambaling Basketball League (MBL) 2009 summer tournament at the Ma. Gochan Sports Complex in Brgy. Mambaling, this city.
From the very beginning, there was no doubt on the outcome for Conor as it posted an eye-popping lead at the intermission, 65-23.
Seven of the 10 Conor players who scored submitted double figures led by Ben Gascon with 19 points.
Offguard Chris Lo Alarcon, who dished out several nifty assists, added 11 points as Conor, which stayed on top of the heap with a clean 4-0 slate.
Jessie Balaba and Rap-Rap Cañedo had 21 and 18 points, respectively, for Sitio Colo, which suffered its third loss against only one victory.
