McMill routs DV Motors in PPBA

CEBU, Philippines – McMill Enterprises of Macky Hapitan scored a lopsided 102-73 win over the DV Motors in the penultimate round of the Punta Princesa Basketball Association (PPBA) First Conference 2009 at the Pablo Atillo Sports Complex in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.

 McMill bounced back from a 38-46 deficit behind a strong second-half show behind its tough defense anchored on Jun Verano and Boy Fajardo. As DV Motors suffered a monumental collapse, McMill kept on pummeling its foe after taking a 66-61 lead at the end of the third period on the way to a 29-point blowout.

Dodong Elizalde paced McMill with 25 points, while the De la Peña brothers cashed in 20 points apiece as they improved their win-loss record to 5-2.

Ruel Arguedo and Arsenio Nardo led DV Motors with 26 and 19 points, respectively.
