AMBL demolishes McMill in BAR cage tourney
CEBU, Philippines - The AMBL Enterprises & Advertising of team owner Allan Lim mauled McMill Enterprsies of Mack Hapitan, 91-77, in the Basketball Association of Ramos (BAR) Vice Mayor Rama Cup 2009 at the Cogon-Ramos gym.
Yokyok Alsena poured in 12 of his 17 points in the first period that helped the Jun Felicitas-skippered AMBL take an early 25-20 advantage.
Robert Abasolo and Marlou Monreal later joined in scoring parade to stretch AMBL’s lead to 10 points, 49-39 at the turn. The AMBL cagers continued to spew fire to close the third period with a 70-58 edge.
Abasolo topscored for AMBL with 25 points, while Monreal and Rey Jumamil chipped in 23 points combined.
Joel Tumulak paced McMill with 22 points followed by Ritchie Tecson with 14 points and Danny de la Peña with 11.
