Seno settles for bronze in Tru-flex tennis

CEBU, Philippines - Bogo’s Jan Godfrey Seno faltered in his gold medal quest and instead settled for just a bronze in the 2009 Tru-flex National Age-Group Tennis Championships at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center yesterday.

Seno bowed to Mimo Tomacruz in the unisex 10-under semifinals, 2-6, 4-6.

Seno also competed in the boys 12 class where he retired against Bruce Ivan Valenzuela in the third round so he can focus with his remaining games in the 10-under division.

There were only two Cebuanos from SANCASE training pool who took part in the Tru-flex event. The other one was Arthur Craig Pantino. —Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (THE FREEMAN)
