AMBL wallops Jan Hog in BAR hoopla

CEBU, Philippines - The AMBL Enterprises and Advertising of Allan Lim slaughtered Jan Hog and Cattle Dealer, 102-81, for its second win in three starts in the Basketball Association of Ramos (BAR) Summer League 2009 at the Cogon-Ramos Sports Complex.

The Hog Dealer actually had an impressive start, 23-17, behind the hot hands of top gunner Vincent “Inting” Reyes.

However, AMBL waxed hot in the next quarters courtesy of Lito Navarro, Flor Loreto and Fritz Sullano to grab the upperhand, 46-41, for good.

The AMBL stalwarts kept on spewing fire in the payoff period where they launched a 31-17 rally to dump the Hog Dealer by 21 points at the final buzzer.

Robert Abasolo topscored for AMBL with 32 points, while team captain Jun Felicitas banged in 14 markers. Alesna donated 12 points, while Navarro and Lim each scored 10.

The tandem of Louie Navarro and Reyes paced the Hog Dealer with 39 points combined.
