Mambaling wins anew in inter- barangay dance tilt

CEBU, Philippines - Mambaling hauled three golds, four silvers and three bronzes to dominate the 17th leg of the Go Ching Hai-Martina Cup and M.Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Cup Inter-barangay Dancesport Competition in Kalunasan over the weekend.

Mambaling’s latest success were courtesy of Orven Miro and Jhezreel Mae Estenor in the open youth standard, Sunrish Jive Conde and Cheska Marie Anoza in the juvenile latin, and John Rey Jabonero and Giselle Entice Calumba in the youth latin division.

Lahug finished at close second with two golds and a bronze. The golds were handed over by Robert Dona Alinabon and Joanna Mie Casibo in the junior latin and standard competition.

Tejero snatched the sixth gold at stake in the open action through John Paul Mocorro and Analyn Suazo.

Buhisan settled for fourth with a silver and a bronze, while Guadalupe landed at fifth with a bronze.

In the closed bronze contest, Irel Kenneth Dajao and Rhey Ann Mae Gilbero were unopposed in both the juvenile standard and latin contests. Ditto with Felix Walter Baylosis and Alyssa Lubrico in the junior latin class. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (THE FREEMAN)
